Ceremony of “Commission’s Staff Meeting, Donation, and Academic Award”

       Ceremony of “Commission’s Staff Meeting, Donation, and Academic Award” was held on 23rd June 2022 at 10:00 a.m. in the assembly hall, in accordance with the regulations regarding the Covid-19 Pandemic.  Chairman of the Commission, Secretary and Members, Directors General, Deputy Directors General, Directors, Deputy Directors, Commission Office’s Staff and children of Staff who passed the Matriculation Exam attended to the Ceremony.

        At the Ceremony, the Chairman of the Commission delivered an opening remark, and illustrated that the Commission supply to the Staff of the Commission Office, as “Parents and Children, Teachers and Staff monthly Care and Assistance Programme”, and provided the assistance and donated money for the parents’ homes of 2 Staff from the Commissioner's Office were lost in a fire due to terrorists. It is a ceremony to award Academic Awards to the Staffs’ children who have passed with distinctions in Matriculation Exams in the 2019-2020 Academic Year and 2021-2022 Academic Year. As the parents are Staff, they can only give their children an educational inheritance.  In accordance with the saying that “Learning cannot be stolen”, they want to give their children an educational inheritance and pay special attention to being responsible parents.

       As part of the “Parents and Children, Teachers and Staff Monthly Care and Assistance programme”, the Secretary and members, including the Chairman of the Commission, from the month of (6/2021), will provide the Staff with the goodwill, and the Commission’s assistance are considered as meritorious, the Staff also understand the value of fond and kindness of the Leaders and carry out our work duties with good behavior and need to serve with responsibility according to our levels.

        In addition, the Commission expresses its sympathy for the fire and damage to the homes of the parents of 2 Staff in Kayah State and Myoung Township in Sagaing Region due to terrorists.  As the Departments and Division in the Commissioner's Office, we need to administrate by the department in charge, act as an example of the Commission’s perceptions and benevolent, in dealing with hierarchy, and it is important to manage with good behavior. In the world, “It is a sin not to do what one should do, so it is a sin to do what one should not do.” Thus, we have to take responsibilities appropriate with levels. Failure to act in accordance with accountability is a sin, whether in service or whether in administration, we need to carry out the responsibility with fondness and benevolence.

       Next, U Kyaw Soe, Deputy Director General of the Commission Office, explained the solutions to the Staff’s submissions and the implementation measures on the personnel matters in the meetings which were held with the Staff of the departments from the Commission Office.

      After that, as an assistance for June under the “Parents and Children, Teachers and Staff Monthly Care and Assistance Programme”, Commission member U Maung Maung Tint, Member of Personnel Disciplinary and Security Work Committee, gave 20,000,000 Kyats to Director General U Lwin Aung, and the Commission Secretary also gave a total of 44 million kyats at the rate of 22 million kyats per household to the families of 2 Staff from Commission Office who lost homes in a fire due to terrorists.

     Furthermore, the Commission Chairman awarded to 21 students in which 3 students who passed the Matriculation Exam for the 2019-2020 Academic Year, 3 who passed with distinctions and 10 who passed the Matriculation Exam in the 2021-2022 Academic Year, and 5 outstanding students, with a total amount of 21,000,000 Kyats.

        After that, the Chairman of the Commission delivered his closing remark, and said that all members of the Commission are acting unitedly with recommendations, that should be implemented in a mutually coordinated manner, with the aim of developing clean government and good governance. He urged all the Staff to be united to maintain the reputation of the commission, deal with each otherss good judgment, and do the right thing to successfully carry out our process with happiness and peace in the workplace, and the ceremony ended at noon (11:00).
