Anti-Corruption Commission organized the 2023 Rainy Season Planting Ceremony

The Anti-Corruption Commission organized the 2023 Rainy Season Planting Ceremony this morning in the Commission Office area, with the intention of preserving the environment, assisting weather conditions, and providing shade for the Commission Office staff. During the ceremony, hardwood trees and fruit trees were planted. The event was attended by the Chairman of the Anti-Corruption Commission, the Secretary and Commissioners, Directors General of the office, Deputy Directors General, Directors, and Deputy Directors.
During the Rainy Season Planting Ceremony, Dr. Htay Aung, Chairman of the Anti-Corruption Commission, handed over seedlings to the relevant departments: the Commission Office, Administrative Department, International Affairs and Prevention Department, and Investigation Department. The Chairman led the planting activities. This first time of Rainy Season Planting Ceremony aims to foster the growth of trees that will contribute to preventing deforestation, preserving valuable ecosystems, and creating a fresher and more sustainable future. The Commission is dedicated to establishing a lasting legacy of environmental protection for future generations by providing shade, improving air quality, and actively engaging Commission Office staff in the effective and active planting of trees.
At the 2023 Rainy Season Planting Ceremony, the Anti-Corruption Commission planted a total of 517 seedlings, including treasure teak, perennial crops, and shady trees.
