The discussion revolved around the drafting of Code of Conduct (CoC) that would be applicable to both commission members and commission office staff

        On October 4, 2018, from 09:30 to 13:30, the Anti-Corruption Commission Myanmar and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) joined forces to create a Code of Conduct for commission members and commission office staff. This collaborative effort occurred at the Park Royal Hotel, in Nay Pyi Taw.

        During the meeting, Commission member U Zaw Win and Mr. Christopher Politics, the UNDP Chief Technical Adviser, delivered the opening speeches. Following that, U Htin Kyaw, the Director General of the Anti-Corruption Commission Office, provided a comprehensive explanation of the Code of Conduct (draft) prepared by the Commission and UNDP, going through each chapter in detail. Throughout the session, attendees actively participated in discussions and shared their insights.

        Commission member U Zaw Win participated in the discussion alongside members of Commission U Soe Tint, U Aung Lwin, U Han Nyunt, U Khin Maung Myint, Daw Lae Lae Thwin, and U Htin Kyaw, the Director General of the Anti-Corruption Commission Office. They were joined by officials from the Union Supreme Court, Office of the Attorney General, Office of the Auditor General, Union Civil Service Board, General Administration Department, Myanmar Police Force and Bureau of Special Investigation. In addition, Dr. Stuart C. Gilman, a UNDP expert, Mr. Christopher Politics, the Chief Technical Adviser, and Daw Thin Thin Aung were also in attendance.
