        The anti-corruption commission has formed an investigation team to investigate and take the necessary action by the law regarding allegations of corruption in the activities of former State Counselor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi.
        For the Daw Khin Kyi Foundation, the Nay Pyi Taw Municipal Development Committee has applied for 101.33 acres of land in Ottara Thiri Township and 23.855 acres of land in Pobba Thiri Township to implement the La Yaung Taw Agricultural Vocational Training School project in Nay Pyi Taw.
       The residence building of Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, chairwoman of the Daw Khin Kyi Foundation, was constructed using 1.6 billion kyats from public donations. It is claimed that the construction was carried out on improperly used land. The headquarters of the Daw Khin Kyi Foundation, chaired by Aung San Suu Kyi, will be opened in Bahang Township, University Avenue. The state incurred a loss of over 5,200 million kyats in two years due to the improper lease of 1.86 acres of land and buildings at No. (60), in violation of procedures and abuse of their position.
       Chairman of Nay Pyi Taw Municipal Development Committee, former mayor Dr. Myo Aung, and former Deputy Mayor U Ye Min Oo, requested the Daw Khin Kyi Foundation to apply for 101.33 acres of contiguous land in Ottara Thiri Township and 23,855 acres of land in Pobba Thiri Township to implement the La Yaung Taw Agricultural Vocational Training School project in Nay Pyi Taw. On 18-2-2020, U Min Thu, a former member of the Nay Pyi Taw Municipal Development Committee, made the request. The management committee meeting no. (7/2020) approved the violation of the rules and regulations of the procedures specified in the allocation of land and the issuance of the land lease contract (land grant).
        According to Article 55 of the Anti-Corruption Law, former State Counselor Daw Aung San Suu Kyi and Chairman of Nay Pyi Taw Municipal Development Committee, Dr. Myo Aung, along with the former mayor, Former Deputy Mayor U Ye Min Oo, are being prosecuted. Furthermore, U Min Thu, a former member of the Nay Pyi Taw Municipal Development Committee, is also being prosecuted according to Section 55/63 of the Anti-Corruption Law. These individuals are facing charges at the Mandalay Region District Court under Criminal No. 3/2021, 4/2021, 5/2021, and 25/2021. The Mandalay Region Private Court (Nay Pyi Taw) has examined the case.
        In the Mandalay Region Court of Justice in 2022, on August 15th, Crime No. 3/2021 was filed against Daw Aung San Suu Kyi. From 25/2021, she was ordered to serve three years in prison for each of the cases 4/2021 and 5/2021. Additionally, she was sentenced to serve the prison sentences concurrently for all three cases. Crime No. 3/2021 was also filed against Dr. Myo Aung. For cases 4/2021 and 5/2021, he was sentenced to three years of imprisonment, which were to be served together. U Ye Min Oo was the person to whom the sentence was imposed. U Min Thu was ordered to serve a three-year prison term for Crime No. 4/2021, and a three-year prison term was also imposed on him for Crime No. 3/2021.
