The ceremony of handing over the anti-corruption module and integrity and ethic module for university-level was held at hall of office No (13) the Ministry of Education in Nay Pyi Taw at 10:00.
At the ceremony, U Tin Oo, Chairman of the Anti-Corruption Commission, said that the modules for university-level had been handed over to the Ministry of Education. He emphasized that the purpose of this handover was to facilitate anti-corruption education by providing references and incorporating them into the curriculum as lessons.
He said that as the commission, not only prosecution, we are making more serious efforts in the positive way of promoting integrity in the fight against corruption. A community and culture of integrity must be cultivated from schools.
He said that the cooperation with the Ministry of Education in the education sector is very important and he expressed his gratitude for such cooperation.
After that, U Tin Oo, the Chairman of the Anti-Corruption Commission handed over a total of 4,000 copies of Anti-Corruption module and Integrity and Ethic modules for university-level to Dr. Nyunt Pe, Minister of Ministry of Education. In recognition of this contribution, Dr. Nyunt Pe presented a certificate of honor to the Chairman.
Continuing, Union Minister Dr. Nyunt Pe expressed his pride and gratitude for being able to compile and publish by the Commission on Anti-Corruption module (2) and Integrity and Ethic module (3) for university-level as a reference in the fight against corruption.
The modules for university-level handed over today are compiled and published with good intentions, so he believes that they will help young students to become good citizens who are free from corruption and have good integrity.
The Ministry of Education continues to distribute these modules for university-level to various universities and keep them in university libraries for students to read, study and discussions will be conducted.
During the ceremony, the Ministry of Education expressed special thanks to the Chairman of the Anti-Corruption Commission for handing over the anti-corruption module and integrity and ethic module for university-level to the Ministry of Education. After that, the ceremony was closed after the photo session.
In the past, the Anti-Corruption Commission compiled and published teacher's guidebook for primary, middle and high school and anticorruption module (1) and integrity and ethic module (1) and (2) to the Ministry of Education as an edu-tainment programme to promote integrity.
