The coordination meeting on procedures and frameworks, implemented by CPU, formed under the states and regional government for combatting corruption, was held in the meeting hall of the anti-corruption office at 9.30 PM on October 27, 2022. In the opening speech delivered by the chairman of the anti-corruption commission, the commission is conducting prevention, investigation, and awareness raising on anti-corruption by implementing the anti-corruption strategic plans to reduce the corruption cases throughout the country and to be a clean government and good governance.
There are (38) corruption prevention units, under the union ministries and government organizations, and they got good results in implementing the anti-corruption process. So, the 14 CPUs have been extended. The purpose of this meeting is to coordinate the framework and the process according to the requirement of local conditions while making implementation of extended CPUs.
The ACC laid down the policy to reduce the systemic corruption rapidly that spread in public sectors, to manage the corruption case according to the Worldwide Governance Indicators (WGI) by World Bank, and to increase the index of the control of corruption.
