A business trip to the Government Inspection Agency (GIV), Vietnam

The Myanmar delegation, led by U San Win, the secretary of the Myanmar Anti-Corruption Commission, along with Commissioner U Soe Tint, Commissioner U Han Nynt, and U Ye Htet, Deputy Director of the Commission Office, undertook a working trip from 27th to 31st August 2018. The purpose of the trip was to exchange business experiences and enhance bilateral cooperation, as stipulated by the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Myanmar Anti-Corruption Commission and the Government Inspectorate of Vietnam (GIV), with the involvement of high-ranking officials from both countries.
During the visit, the delegation led by U San Win, the secretary of the Commission, met with a team led by Inspector General H.E. Mr. Le Minh Khai and the group from the Government Inspection Office (GIV) of Vietnam in Hanoi on 28-8-2018. They also met with H.E. Mr. Nguyen Van Thanh, Deputy Inspector General of (GIV) in the evening. They also met with a team led by Kwanning State Inspector, Mr. Le Van Dien, on 29-8-2018 and with Deputy State Administrator, Mr. Vu Van Dien, in the evening. On 30.8.2018, they met with Mr. Dinh Chung Phung, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Nbin State, and discussed and shared information on anti-corruption and operational experiences.

The working visit resulted in the exchange of valuable anti-corruption efforts and experiences from Vietnam, leading to improved bilateral relations. Additionally, the progress of Myanmar's anti-corruption process was also presented.
