U Lin Wai Aung, Deputy Director, Anti-Corruption Commission Office in Myanmar along with Daw Hsu Wai Phoe Kyar and Daw Mie Mie Hlaine San, the 2nd permanent secretary of the Office of the Permanent Mission of Myanmar to the United Nations in Vienna, participated in the 9th session of the Implementation Review Group and 12th Open-ended Intergovernmental Working Group meeting on Asset Recovery held from July 4th to 7th in 2018 in Vienna, Austria.

    This meeting was attended by representatives from the 128 state parties of the United Nations Convention against Corruption (UNCAC), as well as international organization including the World Food Program (WFP), World Bank (WB), Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf GCC), Council of Europe's Group of State Corruption (GRECO) , International Anti-corruption Academy (IACA), International Criminal Police Organization, Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), Regional Anti-corruption Academy (RAI) and Sovereign Military Order of Malta, totaling over 400 representatives.

    Achievements and good practices shared and discussed by member countries at the meeting, Myanmar's anti-corruption activities in cooperation with various relevant departments in the country, cooperation with social organizations; by cooperating with international organizations based on this achievements and good practices, it will be able to be implemented successfully.
