Conference of the States Parties to the United Nations Convention Against Corruption (CoSP) Seventh Session

Commissioner Daw Myat Myat So, Anti-Corruption Commission Myanmar, Deputy Director General U Kyaw Kyaw Naing, Office of the Attorney General of the Myanmar, Deputy  Director Daw Hla Thandar, State Counsellor Office, Deputy Director,  U Tun Tun Aung, Union Supreme Court, Deputy Director (Police Lieutenant Colonel) Khin Maung Aye, Ministry of Home Affairs, and representatives from Embassy and Permanent Mission of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Vienna attended the Conference of the States Parties to the United Nations Convention Against Corruption (CoSP) Seventh Session, which was held on 6-10, November, 2017.  

    7th Session of the CoSP United Nations Convention Against Corruption was held at the Vienna International Center (VIC) in Vienna from 6-11-2017 to 10-11-2017 from (10:00) to (19:00) daily plenary session held from 6-11-2017 to 10-11-2017 at M Hall, and Resumed 8th Session of the Implementation Review Group (IRG) meeting held from 7-11-2017 to 8-11-2017 in Boardroom A at the same time. Special events were also held in Rooms M3, M6, M7 and Press Room.

    Representatives from 158 member countries of the Convention attended the meeting. Individuals from civil organizations, non-government organizations, media and private sector were also present.

The opportunity to attend this event bring to discuss the process of reviewing the implementation of the Convention to other member states, to absorb the working methods of other member countries and get benefits such as being able to learn and remember the experiences of other countries.
