ACC Chairman U Aung Kyi receives the UN Secretary-General's Special Representative for Myanmar


    U Aung Kyi, Chairman of the Anti-Corruption Commission, received the delegation led by UN Secretary-General's Special Representative for Myanmar, Mrs. Christine Schraner Burgener, at 4:30 pm in the reception hall of the Anti-Corruption Commission Office in Nay Pyi Taw.

    During the meeting, the Anti-Corruption Commission discussed various topics, including review of the legal framework and institutional development activities, awareness activities, the formation of Corruption Prevention Unit (CPU), legislative matters pertaining to the protection of whistle-blower. Investigative Matters, the opening of branch offices in Yangon and Mandalay, and cooperation with United Nations organizations.

    Along with the Chairman of the Commission, Secretary of the Commission U San Win, Commissioner U Zaw Win, Commissioner Daw Myat Myat So, and the Director General of the Commission Office, U Htin Kyaw, joined the meeting.
