The workshop was conducted with the technical assistance from the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC).

During the workshop, U Aung Kyi, Chairman of the Anti-Corruption Commission, emphasized the importance of preparing to systematically combat the pervasive spread of corruption. Next, Mr. Troels Vaster, the Country Manager of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), explained the workshop’s objectives. He then presented 3 group books containing anti-corruption training curriculum and 1 report (in both Myanmar and English) assessing the training requirements, and handed over to the Chairman of the Anti-Corruption Commission. Subsequently, the Commission Chairman, along with the Secretary and Commission Members, encouraged the staff to explore and engage in the practical discussions taking place during the workshop. The workshop is scheduled to take place from April 25th to April 26th, with the participation of a total of 20 staff from Anti-Corruption Commission Office.
