        In accordance with Myanmar’s implementation review process of the United Nations Convention Against Corruption (UNCAC), a Country Visit meeting was organized. This meeting included representatives from the UNODC Secretariat Office, Thailand, Burundi, the Anti-Corruption Commission Office, and related ministries. The meeting took place in Nay Pyi Taw from July 12 to July 14, 2016, and was hosted at the Hotel Royal ACE.

        The meeting involved final negotiations regarding the release of the Country Report on the outcomes of the Desk Review conducted for countries that underwent the Self-Assessment Checklist (SAC) in accordance with Myanmar’s UNCAC implementation review process, specifically focusing on the provisions on Chapter (3) Criminalization and law enforcement and Chapter (4) International Cooperation.
