The quarterly work implementation meeting for the departments of the Office of the Anti-Corruption Commission was held this afternoon from September to December 2023. The meeting took place at 13:00 in the commission office's meeting hall and was attended by the Secretary, Commission Members, Director General, Deputy Director Generals, and staff.

     In his opening speech, Chairman U Sit Aye stated that the purpose of the meeting was to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the commission's quarterly work implementation from September to December 2023, as well as the work implementation for the entire year of 2023. The State government is not only striving to enhance production for the economic development of the state but also opening Basic Education High Schools, Institutes, Universities, and Colleges to advance national education for the public. It is essential for public servants responsible for implementing state policies to be honest and refrain from corruption. Chairman U Sit Aye emphasized that combating corruption effectively is the duty of the Anti-Corruption Commission. Corruption is a type of crime that those in authority are more likely to commit. Throughout 2023, the Commission, in cooperation with the State/Division Government, conducted awareness discussions to encourage society to fight against corruption. Additionally, awareness training was carried out in basic education high schools to enhance integrity and combat corruption. Union ministries/organizations have also established Corruption Prevention Units (CPU), and the Public Feedback Program (PFP) is being implemented. Chairman U Sit Aye urged that the staff working in the Anti-Corruption Commission office need to carry out their duties effectively and efficiently, understanding the impact of the work they are responsible for. He emphasized that employees should pay particular attention to civil service ethics as well as the ethics established by the commission.

        Afterward, the respective Director Generals from the Administrative Department, International Relations and Prevention Department, and Investigation Department presented the work completion along with its strengths, weaknesses, further implementation processes, and issues to be addressed by the Commission. The ceremony concluded after the Chairman, Secretary, and Commission members provided additional suggestions related to the quarterly work implementation during the presentation.
